Our customer service team operates from our branches across the EMEA region. So, we’re currently looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our team at our Erpe-Mere operation, who has that passion about giving our customers the service they deserve and expect. About the role As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be responsible for our customers’ orders in the Benelux region. From the moment payment is received, you’ll take full ownership of the order from start to finish. Think of it this way – you’ll almost be acting like a project manager, ensuring the order process is completed smoothly and efficiently in a satisfactory and timely manner. Your orders can vary. You may have as many as 10 orders per week to manage. These orders could be anything from long term services contracts to managing ad-hoc maintenance orders. No one day is ever the same, and you’ll have many tasks and responsibilities that will come in your way. Your main responsibilities will include: Following up order inputsDay-to-day reporting on ordersManaging urgent requests from customers and colleaguesRequirements We’re not looking for any specific qualifications, but you’ll have a passionate for providing first-class customer-focused service. As you’ll be working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, we’ll expect you to be able to prioritise, adapt and be patient in those moments where you’ll need them the most. You could already be working in a customer service capacity as part of an order handling team providing services or spare parts components. As a minimum, we’ll need you to: Dutch and English language skills (fluent or native level)Have strong customer service skillsBe able to work well as part of a teamBe comfortable working with computersHave the ability to solve complex problems Although not essential, it would also be useful if you have: French language skills (fluent or native level)Experience working in a transactional customer service environmentCareer Progression At SPX Flow, we’re driven by ingenuity with a focus on meeting our customers’ needs.
