About the Opportunity

The Strategic Communications practice of FTI Consulting is one of the world’s most highly regarded consultancies. We offer a broad base of services covering communication, corporate reputation and ESG advisory. Operating in Ireland since 1999, FTI supports many of Ireland’s leading companies while also serving a range of multi-national companies operating in Ireland and in other markets.

The Executive/Team Assistant will support a team of nine to continue to manage a growing client base covering all aspects of the business.

Primary Duties 
  • Managing and co-ordinating team meetings to ensure team schedule and deadlines are understood and client deadlines are met
  • Taking minutes and following up to ensure actions are completed
  • Complete research tasks and client reporting for the team, as required Maintain internal databases such as Salesforce (CRM – project setup), Chrome River (invoice and expense processing) and Carpe Diem (time entry management).
  • Supporting the team on issuing and marketing of research materials and newsletters
  • Schedule and coordinate internal meetings and manage diaries of team members, coordinate client logistics
  • Assist with collation of media contacts/ databases
  • Manage client deadlines ensuring team members are delivering to client expectations
  • Support production of pitches, presentations and other materials for client meetings
  • Arrange and manage itineraries and logistics for the team, as required 
  • Assist with internal and external events including managing invites and attendance lists along with arranging venues and catering
  • Collaborate with the other Team Assistants across FTI and the wider corporate support teams, including HR, Facilities, Finance and IT, to ensure smooth running of the team
  • Act as main point of contact for all internal and external invoicing and accounting issues for the team
  • Out of hours support to the team will be required on occasion
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in supporting busy and demanding board level executives, ideally in a Corporate or Professional Services environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills to prioritise competing demands and act in a proactive manner
  • Educated to Leaving Certification or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting colleagues and teams in a strategic manner at a senior level
  • High level of IT literacy (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, Eloqua or Knak an advantage
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience of organising events 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
  • Ability to cope under pressure and adapt to change quickly
