The Procurement Officer will directly report to the Capex Manager within the GNFR Department.

 

  • Guarantee the procurement of all Capex Investment within the department  
  • Anchor the Carrefour Group's purchasing culture in his area.
  • Establish tools and processes for the efficient management of the Capex category in accordance with the Carrefour Group's specifications and in direct contact with the shops.
  • Follow the Group procedure while performing the activity

 

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Development of purchasing strategy in accordance with Capex Manager & Internal Stakeholders
  • Introduction of practices, procedures and tools of the purchasing department
  • Development and evaluation of KPI’s for the department
  • Management, updating and use of tools such as SAP ARIBA for all the S2C process
  • Identify and manage the Suppliers Spend for the category
  • Identify and discuss with the Capex Manager the contracts that need to be re-negotiated and the RFX that should be launched
  • Lead with the assistance of the Capex Manager the RFI-Qs & the change management process
  • Identify and implement the improvements that are needed in managing correctly the category  
  • Prioritize savings activities and propose area(s) of interventions/optimization
  • Clear communication with internal stakeholders throughout the entire sourcing process
  • Contracting in collaboration with the Carrefour Legal Department
  • Collaborate with the operations and other departments to identify areas of improvement  (Savings)
  • Support the Capex Manager to create a cost-saving mind-set
  • Collaboration with controlling on budget follow-up and right identification of the savings realized (Capex & Opex)
  • The Purchasing Officer will work under the supervision of and report directly to the Capex Manager
  • Able to perform supplier visits
  • Willing to travel

 

 

 



Profiel kandidaatYOUR PROFILE

 

 

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a multinational company as a buyer
  • Good knowledge of the Capex Market within Retail or alternative industries
  • Relevant experience regarding purchasing and financial figures
  • Self-driven person who is a great teamplayer  
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in French & English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google environment
  • Experience to work with Software Database and willingness to improve these skills
  • Experience to work with SAP & Ariba Platform is a clear advantage
  • Able to deal with administrative tasks/follow-up
